ABOUT LYN
Hi, I’m Lyn and I’m delighted to be the HONA educator for South Wales. I’m a self-confessed crazy cat lady and when I’m not in my salon I’m likely to be found playing with fluffy kittens as I’m also a registered breeder of Ragdoll cats!
I’m extremely passionate about all things nails, especially natural nail health which was a major reason I chose HONA as my brand. I’m delighted to be teaching for them as their ethos aligns with my own and I’m a huge advocate for prescriptive manicures. I like to keep up to date with the current trends and techniques through continual personal development, master classes and workshops.
I love empowering people and education gives me the opportunity to pass my knowledge and experience on to the next generation of nail techs. I’m a multi award winning nail tech and would absolutely love the opportunity to teach you and pass my hints and tips on to you to enable you to fulfil your dreams of becoming a nail tech or updating your skills.

ABOUT THE VENUE
I have been creating beautiful nails from my home based salon for the past six years which is in our converted pub on the outskirts of Pontypool. There are great transport links with a bus stop literally outside my house with other major bus routes running past the bottom of the road. I am 10 minutes drive from the nearest train station and easy access to the M4 within 15 minutes.
Parking is available outside my house or in the free car park directly opposite.
Pontypool town centre is under 5 minutes drive where there are cafes and also a supermarket. Or you can bring your own lunch and store in my fridge. Tea, coffee and squash will be provided and chocolate biscuits always make the day brighter too! There are a couple of major hotels in Pontypool and a pub with rooms or AirBnB nearby for those who need to stay overnight.
