Hi guys. It's Georgia here from G's Beauty Academy. I'm going to show you how to make these gorgeous ribbon bow nails. And you're only going to need a few products for this one. So behind door 12 on your advent calendar, if you had one, you would have got ruby slippers. This is a beautiful, glittery red now let's jump into it. I'm going to start by using peely base. This is a great way to try out some fun nail art before the season, get some content out there, or just to practice. The only annoying thing for me is I'm so used to curing gel, and this isn't curable, so you do just have to wait a good 10 minutes, 10-15 minutes to make sure that it's dry before you go in with your application. Just make sure that you apply it on top of a top coat or a builder gel. For the best results, I would also say, Don't apply this too thick. Otherwise it will take quite a while to dry, and it may not dry completely, so when you go to peel it off, it's a bit tacky, or when you go to apply your gel, it's a bit tacky. Mine actually worked quite well in the end, I did get a little blobble on my thumb from where I've been holding it on its side, so I just corrected that with a little bit more in the evening out, once that was all dry, I went in and used the really, really pretty ruby slippers on three of my nails. I wanted to leave my ring finger and my middle finger as the accent finger, so that's where we're going to do our ribbons. so I'm going to do two coats of this and cure each coat for 60 seconds. It does look a little bit sparse at the beginning, but I Promise you two coats, and It is Absolutely stunning. You. Now that that's all cured, I'm gonna go in with my liner brush. And the trick with this is to paint long and strong. I know that sounds really weird, but I use that in all of my courses. And what I mean is use the full length of your liner brush rather than doing lots of little tiny strokes, and you will get a very neat straight line you once I'm happy with the thickness of those I'm going to go ahead and cure them for 60 seconds. I'm I decided that red cannot be Christmassy without gold, right? So I went in with mirror gold on my liner brush again, and just using the same technique, I go in nice and slow and just paint long and strong with my liner brush to make sure I get two. Really neat gold lines either side of my red literary ribbon. Go ahead and do the same thing on the other nail, also I'm and then we're going to go ahead and cure that for 60 seconds again. Now for the stressful part, we all want to have beautifully symmetrical ribbons, but that doesn't always go our way. So just remember that ribbons in real life definitely are not but the best way to do so is make sure that you didn't have too much gold or whatever color you're going to use on your liner brush. You don't want to have like a bulbous bit on the end, and then just go ahead and draw the two loops first. This can take some time. You don't have to do it as quickly as I do. You can take it a lot slower. But again, it's not going to be absolutely symmetrical, and it wouldn't be a real life anyway, so don't worry too much about that. Once you've got your two loops, you can go ahead and draw straight from the middle, a little line with a little flick at the end. Again, these can be different on both sides, because it's not going to be the same in real life. And then you have a cute little ribbon. And we're just going to do that all again. On the other nail, I'm so you draw the loop from the middle. Correct it as you go. You can make it thicker. You can make it thinner. It's completely up to you. And then do the same on the other side. And before going in straight from the middle and drawing your little ribbon ties you now that they're all cured, I'm going to go ahead and put my super shine top coat on again. This is going to Cure for 60 seconds. I'm this has become one of my favourite oils from HONA. It's called relax, and it's a beautiful, lavendery scent. It's just so nice. Get that all rubbed in and juicy and and there you should have your ruby slippers, red ribbon with a gold bow. I hope you enjoyed this tutorial, and I wish you all a Merry Christmas.
