We’re bringing expert-led, accessible, and fully accredited nail education straight to your screen. Whether you’re starting fresh or looking to level up your skills, our courses are designed to fit around your schedule, your pace, and your goals. With detailed voice-overs, transcripts, and flexible learning, we’ve made sure everyone can access professional nail training, wherever they are.

Q: What’s included in the courses?
A: Our courses include everything you need to be fully equipped! We cover:
- Nail anatomy, allergies, and abnormalities
- Risk assessments and consultations
- Equipment and product knowledge
- The entire process from start to finish, including removal
- And so much more!
Each course also comes with voice-overs for written content and transcripts for video content. Accessibility is a priority for us, ensuring everyone has the best learning experience.
Q: How long will it take to complete a course?
A: You can complete the courses at your own pace! It depends on how much time you can dedicate to it. You could finish it in a few days or take a few weeks, totally up to you! Each course has different volumes of content, so it really does depend on which course you take.
Q: Can I take the courses at my own pace or do I need to follow a schedule?
A: Absolutely! Our courses are designed to be flexible, allowing you to learn whenever it suits you best.
Q: Are your courses accredited?
A: Yes! All of our courses are accredited by ABT. However, accreditation is only valid in the UK. If you’re outside the UK, we recommend checking with your insurance provider to see if our courses are applicable in your country. Even if accreditation doesn’t apply, you can still take the course to expand your knowledge and skills.
Q: How do I access the online learning platform?
A: Once you’ve checked out on our website, you’ll receive an email with all the details to access the platform and start learning right away.
Q: What products or tools do I need to purchase to complete the courses?
A: You’ll need to use HONA products for the course. There’s an option to buy a kit when you purchase the course, but you can use your own tools. We recommend using our Cordless Cube Lamp, or an approved compatible lamp, for the safest full cure.
Q: Are the online courses suitable for someone with no prior experience in nails?
A: It depends on the course! The Complete Beginners and Gel Manicure courses are great for those with no experience. However, courses like Builder Gel, SwiftTips and Hard Gel require prior qualifications, such as qualifications in gel polish and/or builder gel.
Q: Can I learn everything I need to become a qualified nail tech through your courses?
A: Yes! Our courses cover everything from the basics to professional application. Once you’ve completed the course, had your case study approved and received your certificate, you’ll be qualified to begin your journey as a nail tech.
Q: Are there any live sessions or webinars as part of the course?
A: All video content is pre-recorded, so you can complete the courses in your own time. We also offer plenty of regular blogs, business mastery, knowledge hubs and tutorials for plenty of additional and ongoing support!
Q: What happens if I need help during the course? Can I ask questions?

Q: Can I access the course materials after I’ve finished the course?
A: Yes, you’ll have access to the course materials for 6 months. We recommend taking notes and referring back to our blogs and knowledge hubs for future reference! We're always here to support you!
Q: How do I submit my work for review or assessment?
A: Simply submit your case study as outlined in the course, and we’ll review it. You’ll upload it via a WeTransfer link found within the course.
Q: What happens if I don’t pass the final assessment or exam?
A: Don’t worry! Practice makes perfect. You’ll receive lots of useful feedback and be asked to submit new case studies based on that feedback. There’s no limit to how many times you can resubmit, and we’re always here to support you!
Q: Are the online courses the same as the in-person ones?
A: While online and in-person courses are similar in content and price, in-person courses are always recommended with one of our carefully selected HONA educators! The online courses are a great option if in-person training isn’t suitable for you. Q: Do I need to be based in the UK to take the online courses?
A: ABT accreditation covers just the UK, if you reside outside of the UK, its best to check with your insurance provider or double check your country/state regulations - each area of the world have different requirements in order to qualify. Regardless of your location, you can still take the course to obtain new skills and to learn, however it’s important to check whether this qualification is right for you based on your whereabouts.
Q: Can I switch between online and in-person training if needed?
A: Unfortunately, we are unable to switch between the two. Online courses are delivered directly through HONA. Q: Do you offer any discounts or payment plans for the courses?
A: Yes, we offer Klarna and ClearPay as payment options! In regards to discounts, keep an eye out for special promotions that may pop up in the future - you can also use loyalty points!
